JDC director, Darion Smith’s work Enclosure, created for the Howard Community College Dance Company, will finally have its premiere Thursday, March 30th at 7pm. Additional performances will follow on Friday, March 31st at 2pm & 7pm, and Saturday, April 1st at 7pm. All performances will be held in the Studio Theatre located in the Horowitz Performing Arts Center. Enclosure was originally scheduled to premiere in March 2020. The COVID 19 Pandemic forced the postponement of the work until now. Enclosure explores the experience of observation by observing the lives and interactions of others who are bound by their fishbowl existence. The work features original music composed by University of Oregon, Dance Department Head, Christian Cherry.
